Happy Happy Monday! The holidays are in full swing, we have holiday lights contests going on, we have holiday markets, and holiday open houses! We LOVE to see it ladies! This is such a good time of the year to connect with your sphere, and in a fun way!
Today we wanted to discuss the different types of buyers that will be buying homes in 2025, just to get this on your radar and let you start thinking about it before the year is out. We feel like people are starting to get a bit more excited about the market moving into 2025.
Next year we should see a lot of move up buyers, the buyers who got great interest rates years ago and are now ready for something new. A lot of millennials are ready to make money moves, so we’ll be seeing a lot of that next year as well. We could also see a lot of elderly, which is an untapped market, those who are old and want to downsize or want to move into assisted living and sell their current home. Investor buyers are also still playing a huge part, and are searching for unique properties as well as those typical single family properties. Now, the Gen Z buyer who have built up a social media and are rolling in the dough at such a young age, they will be looking to buy first homes next year as well. Finally, relocation buyers. If you’re in a market where relocation is huge, pay attention to that! In an extension to that is people who have relocated, and are now being called back to their hometowns because they no longer can work from home and need to sell.
The biggest tip for finding who your ideal buyer next year is making sure you’re targeting and marketing the buyer you’re wanting, because the language will be different across all of these buyers. When you speak to everyone, you speak to no one. Find out who you want to target next year and start targeting them in your marketing!
